I have one too. One thing I have noticed that in our very very hot summers, down here, the metal grip gets very hotif the car is parked for a few hours in the sun...too hot to touch... Have to direct cold a/c onto it for a short while before being able to handle it

I paid $40 for mine (owned!, I guess..)
I have a Steeda Tri Ax..I like how the pistol grip looks but don't like the angle of the handle in 2nd and 4th gear..

I don't know about that 12mm x 1.75 stock shifter size. I took off the stock ****, and used the gauge from a tap and die set and it was 1.25. I bought a 12mm x 1.75 nut and a 12mm x 1.25 nut. The 1.75 would not go on, but the 1.25 went right on. I haven't seen a black Hurst pistol grip shifter **** advertised anywhere that fits the 12mm x 1.25.

Any help out there in 'stang land?

what year is your stang. i believe the 07-08 thread size is different. bc my stock shifter **** did not fit on my pro 5.0 shifter so i ended up getting a hurst t-handle for $25.

It's an '05. I will probably try to contact Hurst and see if they are planning on making them.

would the t-handle fit on a stock shifter because i dislike the stock **** and love the t-handles so i want to get one but didnt know if i would need to get my shifter first and then get the t-handle or can i get it now then throw it on later also?

Or you can just keep a sock or wrag in your glovebox and just throw it over the shifter before you leave your car outside... problem solved.
