The bullit is $44000.00 up here and $33000.00 in the US. HOW DOES FORD EXPLAIN THAT?

Will you be happy with an Auto, might want to hold out until you can get a similar deal on a Manual. It's a big expense and you don't want to have to second guess yourself. Killer deal though.

This is a fair price and is a 250 dollars above the price I was quoted when I was shopping for the exact same 08 GT in a different color. (But I live in Michigan so the regional difference makes up for the few hundred I guess as American are typically cheaper here I think.)

If you're not in a terrible hurry at the moment, Ford will LIKELY come out with 0% financing on the 08's soon (if they haven't already in your area.) 0% in 72 months, assuming you store the money in a savings account at 5% interest will net you additonal savings of about 2000 dollars after taxes (I'm assuming your income is taxed in the 30% bracket which is pretty high so you might actually save more). Of course, I hear Ford is also cutting back on production so they might not return with the 0% financing and waiting won't improve the deal.

I'd say go for it man.
