24mm or 40mm offset?

RE: 24mm or 40mm offset?
Would it hurt to run 24 offset in the back (for an aggressive wider stance) and 40 offset up front (to keep the rubber inside the fender and limit road grime thrown on the side of the car)?? Any drawbacks to different offsets front and back??

I also have a question. I've got 20X9 Razors & my 255/35 tires stick out from the fender 1/4 or so. That would mean I've got the 24mm offset, correct?
I was planning on lowering the car (FRRP K springs) and maybe also going a little wider with the tires as well. Think i'll be ok with that setup?
Thanks.

well i am on sportline springs and therefore a bit lower... with no rubbing at all and that same 20x9 +24 offset.
Theres room to go a little bit wider but I dont think i'd do anything bigger than 275... perhaps if you get an adjustable panhard bar you can adjust the center of the rear axle a bit so that you wont rub.
I really dont think you'll have a problem with 275's though... figure u'll be about 10mm closer tip of tire to fender. it'll stick out a bit more but i really dont think you'll have any rubbing issues.
