Guys and Gals, those of you who have lowered your cars and upgraded th front shocks, did you have to install caster/camber plates? Also, did anyone have allignment issues after the install?

Thanks,

No, most just need the camber bolts ($40) which give you enough of an adjustment. You should always get an alignment after a drop (or lift for that matter).

As he said, just camber bolts and an alignment.

Who should I get the camber bolts from? I'm getting the Saleen Suspension, BMR Adjustable UCA, BMR LCA's and Panhard Bar.
Thanks guys for the info.

You can get them a lot of places but if you're ordering things from bmr, they have them.

Just under the lowering springs about 3/4 the way down the page.

I did install HD Camber plates - I like the adjustability and rock solid strut mounts. When you see the OEM strut mounts you'll know what I mean. But they are not required. Correct me if I'm wrong guys but don't you need to elongate one of the strut to spindle attachment holes in order to use the adjustable camber bolts? To me it seems like kind of a half baked solution, it apparently works just fine though.

Dont need camber bolts for just 1.5 inch drop. 2 in or more, probably should.

A lot of use didn't get it re-aligned. There is no need for a 1.5" drop. No unusual tire wear and it's been a year already and it's my daily driver...
