Default Extended upgrades for 2007 models

This may be old news, but I received a letter and revised warranty guide from Ford yesterday for all 2007 Ford vehicles. The powertrain warranty coverage period is extended from 3/36k to 5/60k. Roadside Assistance was also extended to 5/60k. No action required. Has anyone else received this?

In addition, the safety restraint coverage is also extended from 5/50k to 5/60k.

I was told when i bought mine....hope i never need it. This is my first American car in a long time. I've been a loyal Toyota, Nissan and Honda owner (still 3 of them in the driveway) and to be honest, over the past 15 years the only problem we've had is the cd changer on the Nissan.

I hope Ford doesn't disappoint me

Purchased my 07 in february of last year and the warranty book that came with the car had the 5yr/60,000 powertrain on it already. The car has never been back to the dealer since then for anything! It's been really great. 11,000 trouble free miles so far! knock on wood.

Take a look see at your window sticker. It's on there. Ford won't TSB aftermarket tints that are damaged. Only if the original GLASS was scratched.
