Well, I would say its probably velcro, 3m wouldnt stick to the carpet, and they say no drilling so thats ruled out...What else is there? Glue maybe? I doubt it, but Id ask emilie before I ordered it..

I've been looking for a GT500 dead pedal for a while. Nice find! I don't know if it's worth $60, though......

LoL, i'm not going to velcro a pedal to the carpet.. how ghetto is that?

I know the stuff can be strong but still doesn't seem all that safe.

Time to e-mail them and find out!

If this is the one from ACC Parts, which it appears to be, then to the left of the dead pedal there is a bracket that goes under the drivers kick panel, then the bracket attaches under an existing bolt behind the kick panel.......

I gota dead pedal from americanmuscle and there is no need to velcro it. On the back it has to pegs that would stick into the floor (or at least on the one I had there was). Take up the carpet from the driver side and you will see a hard foam piece where a dead pedal would be if it was stock. Then put the carpet back...feel for the spot and what I did was cut two tiny little holes so that the pegs in the dead pedal could get through the hole. Once I did that..I attached the dead pedal and stomped on it until it sank into the foam. Piece of cake. If you do not have the pegs....than this whole post was worthless .I would show you a picture but my car is under a tarp for the winter. Good luck

k, thanks guys. i e-mailed AmericanMuscle and they said that the GT500 pedals attach with 3M tape.. which I already knew, and isn't what I asked.

oh well.. so it used an existing bolt. thanks again gang.
