I can't get this look right
Today I did a few things but my car look is still missing something [:'(]
- Swapped out the CDC Billet Grill for the Black Ford Bullit item
- Trashed the4.6 Supercharged fender emblems and re-installedthe Stock GT's
- Cut andlaid a darker, thinner, version of my own GT281SC side stripes
I'm feeling the Bullit Grill (although I'll have to see what the car looks like after it comes back from the paint shop where it's having the spoiler and door mirrors painted Satin Silver).
I'm very happy the 4.6 emblems are gone.
But, the stripes are going to have to come off. I've been fighting with this for ages, Part of me screams that stripes just don't work on my car, but I keep trying all the same [&:]
I've trieda few different things but I just can't get the car looking how I want it. It's not something I can put my finger on, except that it doesn't look tough enough. Without going with alternative body panels (Front end/hood) what the Hell am i doing wrong? the car looks 'dumpy', or in other words, short... Perhaps it's justthe color.
I love it from the rear quarters (Easy Tiger [8D]), it's almost any angle from the frontI don't like.
Please excuse the picture, I had to roughly chop 2 pics together, you can see the join, only had my gay little narrow angle point-n-shoot with me.

RE: I can't get this look right
First off I love the grill. I know what your saying though and I feel like there is something missing but am just as lost as you are. I think it may be because I am a fan of aggressive hoods but I'm not sure.

I think your car looks tight...The unpainted (matte) chin spoiler seems out of place on your car. If it was painted to match your car, I think it would be more noticable and give your front end a lowered appearance for a more aggresive look.

RE: I can't get this look right
I like the grill. Is it plastic or billet? I'd like one like that but I want to retain my fogs and I want a replacement instead of a layover.
I don't think those 20" wheels look very mean. I think if you paint the chin spoiler body color it will look meaner. I love the look of mine.
