Default question about 1/4 window louver install

I have a set of painted Cervinis louvers that I'm going to be installing in the spring, and I was checking the fit for them today. For the most part they fit, but it seems there are small gaps of space that I can't seem to figure out what are caused by after I tried sanding everything down. But, if I give the louver a bit of pressure against the car, it seems everything is a better fit.

So my question.

When I install them, should I be worried if I give it that pressure just to get them on, of them popping off the window at some point (since thats what it wants to do to begin with)? Or should I just drop it off at the body shop and let them have at it, but then again I don't know if they'll follow the correct prep work and not cut corners.

when i installed my qpanel louvers, i found that i needed a bit of pressure for them to fit perfectly as well. they gave rather easily and are stuck on there like glue now. i definitely had my doubts about the 3m tape adhesive, but after removing my side scoops, all doubt is removed. so, if it were me, i'd do it myself as carefully as possible - my guess is that the panels will fit once permanently adhered. and i suppose if worse comes to worst, you could always remove them if you're unhappy and then go to a body shop.

i have mine from them also. that shxt dont fit. there is a gap about half an inch. if i the topfitten the bottom have a big gap. i bring them to my mech shop and they have to cut them off and add new part to make them fit. oh one last thing. dont use the 3m they give you. go buy the better one yourself they stick much better then to free one. i should go with roush. much easy to work with.

I did mine myself. Its easy and only take a few minutes. Don't worry about using a little pressure, it wont hurt.
