HIDs and head light covers

HIDs and head light covers
I currently have the GTS Head Light covers on my car and in order to drive at night I need to use my fogs also or take the covers off. I plan to get HIDs in the near future and I was just wondering how well they would shine through the covers? I'm just asking this out of curiosity and I'm getting the HIDs regardless.
