mine does this on occassion too. Like a hiccup. Its not TCS

Same here. Even a hard, quick downshift to speed up while cruising at 50-60 mph I've had it happen. Another reason to turn it off after you start, lol.

Exactly. I started turning it off as soon as I start my car after that incident. I downshifted into second at about 45-50mph and stayed in 2nd for about 3 seconds. I hit a crappy piece of road when I gunned it I guess, and the car bogged down badly. All I am saying is don't rule out the TCS.
