Well I guess I am just angry about a totally seperate issue.........I live in Florida. Does that explain why I made such a general statement about "older" drivers? lol
yep, i always get it from older folks. and usually they're in a BMW or Lexus with HIDs brighter than all of the sun pointed right at me... yet somehow, I'm blinding them. [&:]

Turn the fogs off when you are flashed, stay legal.[8D]

You never know if the person flashing you is a police car.

Flashing is against the law! If a cop did that, I'd have to pull a "Goober Pyle" on him. Citizen's arrest, citizen's arrest.

Just so there won't be any confusion next time, I am installing one of these. Now when I hit them with my brights after they flash me, they will be more the wiser.

I ususally do not drive with the fogs on in any of my vehicles but that being said I think a fair way to assess whether your lights are obnoxioius is to pay attention to the same vehicle coming at you in on a dark 2 lane road or when on your tail. Example If you have a stang up ur **** and the fogs are on do they bother you? Also if you meet a stang on a dark 2 lane roadand the fogs are on do they bother you as you pass? If yes to either you should pay the same courtesy. Really factory fogs don't do much anyway I figure they are mostly for looks. I always think guys who drive with them on when not needed are dorks trying to look cool.

They really do help when you live in a small town of 2000 people and there is a heard of 350 resident deer living in the town with you. I have met other GT's in town that run their fogs and it doesn't bother me in the least. It is the flashers who are dorks. And it is COOL!

I have had other S197's behind me, in front of me, facing me, coming from the opposite direction and everything short of flying downward at me and the fogs and headlamps on at the same time have never been obnoxous. In fact, I enjoy seeing them drive with all four lit. I think people just like to get on their royal high chairs and think they are doing some justice by flashing BLINDING LIGHTS at us because of their WRONG assumption. I immediately flash my brights repeatedly at them until they pass, idiots. Seriously.

If it was because of the fogs, than why can Semi-Trucks get away with about 153 lights on the front of their vehicles? My God. It's like people think we are storing up the sun and blasting it through our headlights at night. Four of them.
