Backed Into, With Big Pics, How Much?
A guy backed into me while I was waiting to leave school in the parking lot. He's taken responsibility and agreed to pay for the damages. I was just wondering if anybody had any guesses on the numbers to fix this prior to me taking it to a shop, or if it's better to just travel the whole new bumper route. Below, is my sadness...
Thanks for any help, everybody.

Looks like a glancing scuff, probably most all of the white will buff out. Can't imagine it being more than 250-300 if they fill and spray the whole bumper. So long as nothing is damaged underneath
EDIT
Just noticed the little ding on the quarter. That sux, that could balloon the price a bit [:@]

Lol, pay $250 and get the GT takeoff from www.newtakeoff.com - Looks cooler and excellent excuse to go duals.

+1 on the gt take off as for the quarter panel that might be a bit more as the probably have to fill it and then paint the area to match the whole car

ugh, it may have to come to getting the GT takeoff, but I would think that the kid, or at least his parents, would want an estimate slip. RearGT bumpers run for like 300 with shipping off of newtakeoff.
Those white areas are all of his paint, wiping off easily, but the scratches run for miles. Even worse, that black vertical part is my paint scraped off of the bumper. As for that rear quarter panel, I could really care less. It looks far worse in those pictures becuase of the ground's reflection. Up close it's just barely touched, so that's not any of my concern.

well if thats the case, and it is on a flat part of the rqp, you can pop it out with those pop-a-dent things....I know I know, but I used one on my buddys car because he paid me to try it, and it worked! Only on the flat parts, on curved part it had limited success, but it will work on smaller dings on flat surfaces.

the body shop has to R+I the rear bumper 1.5hrs, repair rear cover guessing 2.0hrs, paint rear cover base coat-clearcoat 3.5hrs 46.00per hour plus materials 75.00 total about 397.00
