Default Alignment problem

I am in need of an alignment since I have lowered my car about an 1.5". Although I took my car to 3 different shops today and they told me it couldn't be done, it wouldn't fit on there machine. Is it really not possible to get it up on the ramp or are they just lazy? Also would the dealership be able to do iteven though it is lowered?

Try a local Firestone. I know I do scrap on a few alignment racks but it is very slightly.

Maybe its close call on the rack and its just not worth it to take the risk doing damage to the car.
Check around.

Our rack at the shop handles some low cars, but theres been some we just cant get on the rack.
We have had a Gt that was lowered pretty good up there, but it took a few 2x4's with the ramp going on the rack.
At least I know Ill get mine on there when I lower it 1" in the front.

You have to find someone willing to put forth the effort to get the car up on the lift. I have to help get mine up and down because it is so low. It can be done.
