Unknown Alert Going Off
Last night, we checked the fuses...no sign of a blown fuse. The tone, by the way, gets more continuous as speed increases. Tested it by riding in the passenger seat without the seatbelt around the block. Then tried it with the seatbelt and STILL got the beep both ways. Also, unhooked the battery and reconnected it. It looked like the cable/connnection under the pass. seat looked to be bad. Light still won't come on. But, this morning the beep didn't go off. Debating on taking it to the dealer...could it be under warranty for replacement should this be the case? Also...do you think I should replace the CAI with the stock box before-hand?
I had the same thing. It was the e-brake. It was not all the way done. Do you have a message center in your speedo, where the mileage reout is? That is where the text come up during the beep. It happened like six time before I was able to see the message. The message comes on the off quickly.
Not the trunk or the ebrake. I'm pretty sure it's the sensor for the passenger seat. It may think there is a passenger without their seatbelt on. But usually I get a light on the dash that says put on your seatbelt and I'm not seeing one this time. Thank you though!
