I ran into a problem with the ipod connection...I have about 81 pages of artists, and to get to the bottom is annoying. So someone on www.avic411.com had an idea to change all the genres to the letter of the alphabet that the artist starts with. So you can scroll through the genre, and select lets say C, and then a list of artists with the letter C comes up.
Good tip, I am going to sort my 8000 songs like that right now. I plan on getting this exact stereo in the coming days.

awesome stuff, thanks for the write up.

btw i think it might just be me not knowing what my backseats look like cuz i'm never there, but they don't look like mine? did they always have that backing? i thought the backing plopped down for access to trunk?

Good write-up.Had it for about a year now and still love it!! Only one comment...shouldve trashed the XM and got Sirius. I also got the backup camera installed, not that i need it but another mod that seemed pretty cool to add while I washaving everything else installed
