I ordered a c & l CAIandpredator tuner package for my 07 gtfrom RPMoutlet. The RPM part number was D/SU7145 which seems to match what diablosport's part number is for the 07 gt (U7145). Diablosport lists the U7140 for the 05 and 06 mustangs. When i received the tuner, the box was labled CNL7140, so I assumed RPMoutlet shipped me the wrong part.. the D/SU7140. I called and got a return auth number and was getting ready to send it back, when I received an Email from support stating that I received the right part and that If I send it back, they will just replace the label on the box and send it right back. He said that CNL7140 is the only tuner that RPM can sell with the C & L CAI. Anyone know if the CNL7140 will work on an 07 GT? According to the RPM guy, it's good.

Call Diablo they will answer your questions. 561-908-0040 I have an 07 I bought a used 7140, before I realized there was a newmodel for07+ I called them and they said the 7140 will not work, I needed the 7145. Sold the 7140 and bought a 7145.

Thanks. I just got off the phone with CNL and the guy confirmed that the CNL7140 will work on my 07 gt. He said that the predator 7140 will work on05 - 08, with the lasted update.

Double check with Diablo, when I called they told me no, but that was back in October.

Ok. Clarification. Disablosport stated that mine is the CL7140 and not the u7140.The CL7140 does work for 05 - 08 models. The U7140 is for 05 - 06.

Got it, they confused us by changing the part number. I read the link you provide one tech says it won't work then another says it will. Confusing to me that a company would come out with a U7140 for 05-06 then come out with a U7145 for 07-08, and then a CL7140 which work on all years? Maybe a new part number for the CL7140 would cause less confusion.

What intake did you order from them with your tunner. I ordered the C&L street intake and they sent me the C&L race intake. I paid the extra $39 difference to get the street intake when I ordered it and they sent the wrong one. My order form that they emailed me said that I ordered the race one and they still charged me the $39 difference. Oh well I learned. I won't be ordering from them again. But Im glad I atleast got a package from them.

The CNL7140 is a pre-programmed predator that is shipped with tunes for the C&L. If you have a C&L CAI then you need the CNL7140. At one point, Diablo used to have the C&L tunes on their site so that you could download them and use them on a U7140 but they removed these tunes form their site 2 years ago.
