Passenger side Fuel Sender PIX

RE: Passenger side Fuel Sender PIX
yeah I thought of you when I took the pictures .. I saw you wanted some and I go in there all the time trying to fix my stutter issue at startup.
All it does is attach through a tube to the other sender. The 2 senders avg your gas gauge.

i may have figured it out......the drivers
side pump, is simply sucking gas from both
sides....
the light bulb has turned on
i don't understand the "tube to the other sender part"
i don't see a pump, so how does the crossover tube
function

RE: Passenger side Fuel Sender PIX
The tube going to the each sender unit only flows one way, the duckbill rubber piece on the driver’s side sender unit stops the gas(and/or air?)from flowingfrom thedriver’s side of the gas tank to passenger side. I tested it sucking on the end of the tube after it was disconnected from the passenger side sender unit. I had to test for air leak Ok not the smartest thing to do but I really wanted to understand this thing.
I think the pressure from the system and from the pumpsucks gas through the tube connected to thepassenger side sender unit.
If one sender unit sensor drops below its low point that sensor does take over and throws the gauge down to E.
