i want tosomewhat blackoutmy turn signals so they will blend in with the car better and give it a "sharper image", lol........do they make a spray that i can use on them or do i have to fck aroundand remove them from my bumper and then use window tint on them???

It's really not that hard to take them out if you have a deep socket set. It's not even that hard with a regular wrench set. Just take them out. taco bills sequential tail write up should help

But you should know this already. Don't you have LED rear signals? [>:]

it's called VHT Niteshade, and it works great. I'd still remove the lights before painting though...

ahh thanks sonic....well if i still gotta remove them, i guess i'll just look into buying smoked set of lights and swap them out or just tint them with window tint......either way, i will pretty much do whatever it takes to have it done by Saturday for our meet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the nite shades is what my friend used on his camaro...just to let you know it makes the lighting way less bright than with real smoke covers

Yeah, be careful with niteshade.. I used it on the tail lights of my last car, and cops gave me hell EVERYWHERE.. It's very dark, you have to go EASY on the stuff. And, it gets darker as it dries, so take your time!!!

here's my friend's iroc........until recently, his headlight covers were the clear type and i talked him in to blacking them out a couple years ago (now he has purchased smoke ones)....note the sidemarkers on the front(if you can see them), parking lights and fog lights(in the lower grille) if i had a shot of the back i could show you that, as the 3rd brake light was built into the spoiler on 87s.....


on a side note....i've been telling him for years to get black rims (maybe with a polished lip - i'd just do all black), cuz it just don't look right.......other than bein a chevy [8D]
