Default Bama Vs. Brenspeed

Im confused with which to get....I want once and for all a thread comparing the two. I was looking at getting the Bama 87 performance, 93 performance, and 93 Race. Isn't Brenspeeds just a generic 87 91 93? Is there much difference between Bama's 87 & 93and Brenspeeds 87 & 93? Is anyone DD or running the 93 race tune? I read on Bama's site that they don't recommend the 93 race for DD. What exactly is different between the Bama 93 performance and 93 race? I need good solid advice please!

In Bama's lingo,

performance is geared to accelerate quickly at high RPMs
Torque is for low RPMs
and Race is all the way through

at least thats what I noticed

It is a honest question. I don't know why everybody wants to start doing the polka around it......

Look at Vortech, Whipple, Hellion, Procharger, Granatelli, etc, etc, etc.

Dyno sheets posted everywhere of what kind of power gains they get when bolting their product to a GT.

You have two of the big named tuners that offer guys true increases in performance with CAI and other minor bolt-on modifications on pump gas. Well, WHAT ARE THE NUMBERS?

I can tell you one thing. It won't matter if one is slightly higher than the other, cause it's all going to boil down to customer service and how happy the customers are with what they got anyway. But it sure would be nice to put the dancing shoes back in the closet and see what kind of numbers/hp gains we are talking about...

I remember some time back a member did a dyno pull on his car using a tune from Bama, Brenspeed, and I think the 3rd was VMP. I am trying hard to locate that thread and if anyone has it handy, post it. If my memory serves me well, Bama' tune pulled more hp than the others.

No offense to the OP...but this thread will essentially go nowhere. Both companies make very aggressive and nice tunes...some will say Brenspeed is better, some will say that Bama is better...either way, you are not going to receive more power from one company over another...maybe 1-3hp at max. Just choose one you like and go for it.
