Default ABS and Traction Control Warning Lites

My cars dash lit these two lites this morning. This happened when the car had 1,000 miles on it. My local dealer cleared thecode andall has been well for abouta year. Now, my car has 21k on it and the lites have reappeared.

Anyone having similar issues? If so, what was done to correct the problem?

Thanks in advance.

Happened to mine with about 500 miles on it. Turns out, the wire harness under the drivers seat had rubbed a bare spot in it from seat adjustment and was grounding out the side airbag system.

On my last car, when the exact same two lights came on, the cause was a faulty wheel speed sensor.. Made the ABS freak out because it couldn't determine the speed of one of the wheels, and thought that wheel was in a constant skid condition, so it disabled the ABS. TC is tightly tied to ABS (one prevents the wheels from spinning, one prevents the wheels from skidding), so TC obviously gets disabled too.

Just a thought...

I totally misunderstood the title of the thread. Disregard my previuos, unless you have air bag lights staying on with chimes.
