I have kooks, love them, they are actually mid-tubes, shorter than these you presented. Haven't heard than getting longer than that will do any better. The thing with the kooks is the clearance they have, look like stock on the ground.

Want to hear, catted long tube kooks with mid pypes? here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e_Ftc82mT7I

About 1 5/8 or 3/4? for me, depends, if SC it is in your future then the bigger ones, if not stay with 1 5/8.

WoW sounds awsome. Now he has mac boom tube axle back like me. He wants it to be loud but a good loud. Should he go with a o/r midpipe or a catted mid-pipe? He doesnt mind the smell if it isint that bad. *Any other info on the 2 headers i listed above would be great*

lito, i watched that 7 minute video you posted. i must say i'm very impressed. it was one of the most enjoyable 7minutes and 31 seconds i've had in a long time.

how'd you get a track all to yourself?

Well, is the track closest to Caracas, it's about 1hr- 1hr 30 min drive (depens on traffic) there are not too many racers in this country, but we got lucky too, it's usual to share with some other group(s) sometime big, sometimes small. We called to see when they had an open weekend, you pay a fee per car and drive (about 16 bucks by current currency change). Luckily we were just us four.

More info on the track in http://turagua.pipiri.com

Hey, living in this country had to have at least some pros, right? (another pro, we have 95oct gas at only 0.06$/gal)

Bassani hands down. The superior quality of products and that very distinct bassani tone leaves only but one choice.

1 3/4
No, no, no.... It's been dyno proven time and again that you actually lose power on a 4.6L engine with 1 3/4' inch headers.

The 1 5/8 on a Kenne Bell supercharged 4v in the book "Building 4.6/5.4L Horsepower on the Dyno" made more power through the 3400-6000rpm powerband than the 1 3/4 (12-15 more avg hp, 8-12 more avg ft lbs torque).

This is a supercharged motor pumping out over 600hp. Stick with the 1 5/8.
