Default Another CAI question

OK. I know the CAI's and tunes really wake the car up. But...My car is my daily driver and I want to keep the warranty for know. I want opinions from people who have the FRPP intake and tune. Is it worth the cost? Also, if I get the CAI/tune I may have to postpone summer rims and tires. I am ordering new mufflers next week.

As torque_is_good stated, just read his sig.

Tunes are worth it. Beyond belief they're worth it. Go with bamachips of brenspeed (I'm still debating who I should go with...) along with a nice CAI and you'll be fine.

Also, the swap from stock to tuned CAI is about 30 minutes, and vice versa. If you're worried about warrenty; don't be. Just do the same swap in reverse and you'll be fine (meaning keep your stock air box...)

From what I've heard the FRPP intake/tune doesn't compare to the other combo's out there. The CAI's are all pretty much equivalent in performance and there are a handful of vendors that get kudos from the forum members for their tunes. Use the search function and you'll have enough to read for days.

If you're worried about warranty you're going to miss out on what the Stang is all about. And, as said before, you can return to the stock airbox and tune in a matter of minutes if you need to go back to the stealership.
