Default Radio question

Hey everyone. Well a couple of days ago I was driving and was listening to some killer thrash metal Exodus if anybody wants to know and when I was coming to a stop the radio lowered a tad bit enough to be noticed and then I pressed on the gas and it went up on the volume it lost and then it did again at a stop light it's been doing it almost everyday. It's noticable at low volume but at high it don't happen. Could it be my ford racing axleback vibrating and giving me the impression that the sound is lowering. or is it something else. Thanks for the help everyone.

The radio is supposed to do that to compensate for road noise. The loudness is adjustible.
I cant remember the name of the setting, but it should explain it in the owners manual.

It's the speed adjustment, the faster you go the louder it gets, you can turn it off by pressing menu and scrolling thru till you see "speed rate (then a number)" turn the number to 0 to turn it off.

Acceleration Volume, I think is the technical term.

Just hit menu a bunch of times and you'll see it in your Shaker 500.
