Rims / Springs / Struts INSTALLED! (Updated w pics)
I wasn't going to make a post about this until it was done and I had taken pics of the car, but I'm too excited.
I have a set of 18x8.5 sparkle silver flangeless bullitts (Shelby GT style). (upgrading my 17x8 silver bullitts)
I have a set of Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar tires in 255/45/18. (upgrading from stock 235/55/17 Pirellis)
I have Roush front springs. (already have Roush rear springs installed)
I have Roush struts. (already have Roush shocks installed)
I have tire pressure sensor mounting bands.
I have valve stems. (were not included with the rims [:'(])
I have two camber bolts. (Napa PN 264-3633)
I have an appointment with a tire shop for Friday January 25! Yea!
I've had most of these items since Christmas, but I haven't had a chance to do anything with them. They were my Christmas gift to my stang.
I was going to do the struts and springs myself, but then I figured I could save some time and headaches by letting the tire shop do it while they had my wheels off for the rim/tire swap. They quoted me at $330 to do the 4 tire mount, balance, sensor transfer, strut and spring install, and camber adjustment. I don't know if it's high or low,....and I don't really care that much at this point. I'm just ready to get it done.
I'll keep the thread updated when everything is installed. Until then, here's a pic of a rim, spring, and strut.

RE: Rims / Springs / Struts .....soon to be installed
Sounds like a real good price to me, assuming they are doing an alignment too (you didn't mention that but if they are putting in camber bolts you'd think they would align it)

I got it all done today! I love it! The Roush springs all around give my stang the stance I want it to have, and it's amazing how much cleaner the lines of the car look with the new 18x8.5 bullitts. I'll get some pics up tomorrow.

They ride fine. I've had the rear shocks and springs for a while, and I didn't notice any difference in the ride versus running Roush rear springs with the stock shocks.
I did notice a difference today in the ride. Of course, going from 17" rims to 18" rims causes the bumps in the road to thud a little louder, but the combo of wider tires and the new Roush front springs and struts makes my car drive much tighter and more responsive. The car really corners fast now. Feels like the front of the car is on rails. I love it! ......not to mention the reduction in unsightly wheel gap in the front.
EDIT: Forgot to mention where I got them. I got the rear springs and shocks from www.stage3motorsports.com and I paid whatever they are charging....can't remember. I got my front springs and struts from www.troyfordracing.com for a very good price.
