I know this thread is worthless without pics. But I couldn't keep it to myself much longer.

I picked up a Pioneer Avic-D3x from a guy locally for $600.00. Out of 4 Circuit Cities and 3 Best Buys, the furthest Circuit City from me, go figure, had the Double-Din Dash Kit.

So I got all the harnesses and bypass taken care of tonight and tomorrow goes in the deck.

congrats man i want to get the d3 as well.. how do you bypass it to wacth movies whne you drive and post pics when its done good luck

Thats great, I got mine installed last week. The installer had to do something with the parking brake wiring so that it would play movies while you drive. I've had some fun with it, but the weather has sucked real bad here lately, and the stang has been parked. Congrats, and enjoy.

You move the Yellow/Black Mute Wire to the slot in the harness just above itself. Then Ground that same Yellow/Black wire and also the (Green) Parking Break wire to the ground wire of the stereo. And then it's all bypassed.

I just installed my bypassed AVIC D3 on Thursday and I'm lovin it. I'll try to post some pics for everybody as well.
