I have the Shaker 500, There is an Ipod hookup with the 05....if you get it done through Ford, they have some goofy name for it, but it hooks up through the back, and, at least on mine, and is attacted outside the radio, underneath theingnition, you have to flip a switch to turn the power on, and turn it to a neutral radio station. It is not wireless like some Ipod hook ups, so you don't have to worry about the static going in or out. That is how the ford performace center hooked mine up, might be right, might be wrong...but thats how they did it.

FYI: The aux input in the center console didn't appear until the 2007 models.

I had a friend with an 06 who was complaining about not being able to use his ipod as easily as he would like, and I thought I was going to be "Mr. Know-it-all" and I threw up his center console, getting ready to do my "ta-da", but what came out instead was, "Well, how about that $h1t."
