IMHO, when i drive with the windows down and i go WOT, it doesnt impress me at all with the LM's. Ive let others drive my car so i could hear it from the outside, and it sounds really really good, if i were you, id look into boomtubes.

I thought the SLP LM with the windows down was awesome and sounded pretty good on the drive by. My O/R X and MM system sound really good at most rpms with the windows down and are very loud on the drive by, but with the windows up, not the best.
So you need to decide when you want the exhaust to sound the best, windows up, down, outside.

I've liked my SLPs for 8 months now.. BUt honestly, I'm tired of them. They're just too loud for daily driving. Too much attention. Loud is OK, but these things are wide open and nasty. The only reason I haven't replaced them is that I don't want to add weight back to the car by putting on real mufflers!
Anyways, you'll probably like them, but you may get tired of them quickly.

I wouldn't get the SLP's....may as well get the pypes muffler delete axlebacks because they will sound the same and are cheaper. I think the SLP's sound like a monster/garbage/trash truck. IMO the Mac boomtubes sound MUCH better and you still get the clean look with no muffler haning down.
