Default new key programming

Well, I have a question for those of you that might have already gone down this route. When I bought my car privately back in October, I was only given one functional key, and the other was not cut nor programmed for my car. The other day I went down to ford and asked them how much it would run to cut/program this key, and they told me their special was $109. There's got to be a cheaper way, right?

Default RE: new key programming

Not if you only have one programmed key.
Its stealership time to get another. [:@]
The owners manual tells all about reprogramming
keys and key fobs and such.
