Default Goodbye Martian Messanger

So I finally got tired of looking at my stock antenna that could probably beam messages to little green men on Mars and ordered an eight inch shorty from American Muscle. I got home from work and screwed it on in the freezing cold and couldn't be happier. It does feel a little odd to not see that huge *** antenna wobbling around on the interstate though. Reception seems to be great everywhere except in the immediate neighborhood area where I live. Just feling like sharing.

Perhaps a F-150 truck needs one. Try ebay.

Shorties ftw!

Less wind resistance too!

lol i KINDA like it for some weird reason. i mean no doubt i'm getting rid of it and going with the shorty but it's kind of funny to watch is flutter around and shake vigorously while you drive lol. it just looks like it's on crack.

I thought about getting the shorty antenna, but I still thought it stood out a bit; so I deleted it completely. I used a Metra Amplified antenna. The radio works even better then before. The antenna is glued to the inside of the windwshield and you can't see it at all.

here are instructions.

I've got the 8 inch short on the way too from american muscle - will be a nice change. I swear my F-150 has the same antenna as the car (in terms of length). The truck needs a shorter one next so I can fit in parking garages.
