door piping

It is an easy install but you may run into a bit of a problem with some areas being too tight to get the material stuffed all the way into the slot in the panel. They bottom out before they are all the way in. What I did was cut off about a 1/8" of the material lengthwise in those tight areas and it went in just fine. Another suggestion is to use a nail with the head ground off to connect the two ends together so they stay together (see the 2nd photo). I used a spiral nail that fit snugly into the material's ends.



If you just order the material, it doesn't come with a way to connect it together, but I know if you order it from Stan, (link provided in my post) he does include that piece.
Or you can do what you did.....use the body of a nail.
Yeah, I had to trim mine down some too in places where it was tight, but it was an easy mod.

Silver tinsel. Since it has stuff on the inside of the pipe, you can't use the double joiner like the guy above suggested. If you cut it to the proper length though, I haven't had any problems with it coming out.
