found this on another small forum, but it never went thru. looking to have a custom dash plaque made for my car. attached is a quick photoshop i made, its not to scale. it has the GT/CS and the stripe, build date, the VIN(made up a date and vin for now). i am thinking i will make a template of the exact size and dementions of the area. and bring in a printout and the template to my local sign store.

i ordered my dash panel in black, so the plaque would be a brushed aluminum and the stripe and lettering would be white to match my car.

what do you think, good idea??

I like it! I saw that post on the other forum. Too bad nothing else has been heard about those plaques. Let me know how yours turn out and how much it cost ya. Might look into doing this in the future.

Cool. Where does LLR get them made, pascal? I'd like one with NELS GT, like my underhood plaque.

I like the idea. I have a couple plaques that I have started. They are closer to the shelby ones. I have them cut out, but I still need to polish them, and have them engraved.

ive had office name plaques made at the place i am looking at. he charged my 10 bucks a plaque, and there were very simple. this is alot more custom and complex, i am thinking on the lines of 50 bucks.

if there is alot of interest in this, someone can design a generic S197 plaque. i can have a bunch of them made up, and ship them out for a small fee. i gatta see what he says.

It's made right.
I also got a rectangularplaque (VIN type)that goes in the engine bay. Pretty cool
