You say your first step is FI. You're going for what, 800hp? I don't know you or the car sois the motor already "built" or stock? Are you going to do the whole induction and motor build together or in stages?
First step should be to get the short block full of forged items before you start heading North of 500hp

Thanks everyone for the feedback by the way
Its still a rough decision but I think I am going to go with the Whipple HO kit and see how it goes. I did some extra research last night and it looks like whipple is comming out with a new blower so maybe I will try that one... who knows.

Its going to be very hard to get that kind of power of a TS. If you build the engine correctly, I would toss in either a Centrifugal blower or Turbos, then you could get 700-800RWHP pretty reliable for the track and street, at that point its all in the tune.
you might wanna check out the 4.6 section. modaddict is putting together a 900+hp TS setup, i think his thread is worth watching in the next few days or so he should be posting up more info, but i believe he is going w/ the whipple. i guess you can call it whipple enhancement. lol.

I thought he was putting the 3.4L whipple on his 4.6 somehow?

I decided to go with the centri after all but Shinoda deals with V-Power so they are all about Vortec and Paxton depending on if you want water or air-air intercooling respectively.
Should I go with what they know and use the Vortec or go with the Procharger which I know more about?
also whats the big + and - points about liquid vs. air-to-air intercooling?
