i'm reading this thread and looking at my haynes manual getting ready to tackle this and even the pic in the haynes manual shows the rod to body bolt is reversed like bill mentioned. i can't wait to see what i find thanks again bill!

thanks for the write up bill! did this today with the steeda panhard bar and brace, the exact ones u installed actually since i bought them from leo. besides my dad catching the stock panhard bar with his forehead lol everything went exactly as planned.

1. Yes, just going by what the Factory Service Manual calls it.
2. The included Steeda instructions has you set the pandhard bar the same way, by using the rear fender to wheel/tire via string method.
Most people (if not all) add an adjustable panard bar to correct the visual shifting of the rear axle (in relation to the fender lip)when running wider tires and/or lowering it.

For a 2011 Mustang GT Brembo (Koni & 1" lowering springs) which adjustable panhard bar do you recommend Steeda or J&M?, the car is a daily driver with ocassional track.
