I have stage 3 compcams and am at 345.9rwhp and 327.67rwtq, I did sacrifice a little bit down low. There is honestly no point in doing cams unless you have longtubes, so save your money if you want only cams.

I did comp IIIs and they sound nothing like the videos. I did pick up almost 38hp and 30ft lbs of torque tho. Worth the money----ehhh mayby. Would I do it again? Probably not. I lost about 2.5-3 avg mpg. Could partially be the tune, but the same guy tuned it before, so I atribute it to the cams. Pro Dyno in Charlotte, NC did the install/tuning btw.

I also did Comp Cams Stage III when I did my stroker build and ported heads. IMO, it's worth doing, particularly if there is some economy of scale when doing the heads at the same time. Figure around 35whp with just these cams.

Total with install and tune I was at 2000. Car runs extremely well up top. I might put some L/T's on to maximize the gains.

With cams, LTs, and a tune, you are looking at roughly a 50rwhp gain.

I paid about $1k for the cams and valve springs & another $700 for install. An additional $350 for tuning.
