I think you should let us know what brand it is so that we can stay away from it. Screw who it offends or the can of worms it opens.

You're in the same boat that I am, so you understand...
I feel like they give youa sheet of fiberglass then you have to shape it[8D].
F. that! I bough a HOOD, not a piece of fiberglass.
ya but I dont think we all want to have the same hood as you as much as you probably dont want everybody to have the same hood. yours cost a fortune though and to add paint to it It would have been running mighty high im sure. But the old saying goes YOU GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR.

Yeah, not cheap but well built.
The only work that it needed was around the Shaker hole. It was minor too, most of it would be hidden by the trim ring.
Foose uses the under brace from Ford and then put his top skin.
Chip says that hiscost will always be too highon that hood because he never will sell enough of them. He's more of a designer than a part seller.

Anyway, I wanted that look from day1 so I knew I would bite the bullet.
If this thing had poor fitting and a bunch of imperfections, I would of gone mad.[:@]

But yeah, I'm glad that,[8D]not everyone has it.

Pascal, is there a noticeable weight difference between the 2 hoods?

I love the look of the foose hood and I might just go with that one. I'd rather pay more upfront and know that I'm getting a quality product than pay $500 for a fiberglass one and HOPE that I geta good one.

My stock hood when I took it off I almost threw it over top of me its so light. The fiberglass one is definitly heavier. Im not sure about Pascals though, He will have to fill you in.
