Default Bama Tune Question....

As I was reading Danbogarts post about his recent Bama tune....I recently went with a Diablo predator....and I already like it. I only have moded my exhaust, CAI, and now "canned" tuned it with the predator. My question is this, as I add more things to mycar, I am going to go to Doug @ Bama....how much would he help me right now with the few mods I have? Should I wait to have him send me tunes or will it help the performance that I have right now?

I cant say how much the "canned" tune helped. I know most say the "canned" tunes are not very good.
I suspect he can mailorder a tune file for the Predator just like the SCT but I have never used a Predator.
With the JLT CAI / 93 Race Tune I picked up 4/10 and 3 mph. 2 mpg and a lot of throttle response.

If I ordered a tune from him I would just order the Premium Fuel Race Tune (Whatever octane you can get).
The other tunes take the "Edge" off the car in my opinion. The Torque is to civilized.

The only thing that requires a retune over what you have now is the CMCV Deletes, Power Adder, or Different Fuel Pump (Pids).
If you dont have an ORH/ORX the rear 02's will already be cut off so you wont have to change that if you add it later.
Gears andTires can be changed inuser options (assuming its like the SCT).

Its only $50, its not like itsmuchcompard to most other mods.

Eventually when you decide you are "DONE" you will want to get an actual Dynotune to get every last hp.

Which mods are you looking to add that would require tunes? I'd spend the $50 and get a single tune file from him if I were you. You should see a pretty quick improvement over the diablo based tune. Especially with the shifts. And if you later add mods, Doug seems to pretty good at helping out with updated tunes.
