Default Brakes

I want to upgrade my brakes. I have the stock 17" rims in the front and back. What is the best brake upgrade system I can get that will fit?

I would do better, lighter stock sized rotors, SS lines, Motul brake fluid, Hawk pads, and a brake duct cooling kit.

I can't think of any brake kit that is bigger than stock and still allows the use of 17" wheels, sorry.

You want to upgrade for Look or Performance or both?

Yep - I think all the "Big Brake" kits require 18" or larger rims and then only some rims will work because the size of the calipers. The stock calipers work well, there are plenty of guys racing with them, or at least doing 'track days'. The biggest factor by far in braking is your tires. Most people who don't like the stock setup complain about either fade or feel. Both of these can be fixed relatively cheaply. Fade - high temp fluid and better pads. Feel - SS lines.

The brake ducts would be needed if you are doing HPDE or higher, otherwise....you won't be fading anyway.
