Race, Torque, or Performance?
I have been doing a lot of research on this forum about the different tuners as I will be purchasing a CAI and tuner in the next couple of weeks. I realize that many recommendations are subjective but here is my question.
Bama sells three different types of tunes. Torque, Performance, & Race. I don’t plan on taking it to the track but it seems like with the Torque you sacrifice top end power and with the Performance, you will sacrifice low end. The website states the Race tune is not for a daily driver although I have read where some of you use the Race tune as your DD. Why can't a tune be the best of both worlds and give maximun power at both top end and low end?
VMP sell two types of tunes, MPG and Performance.
I’m not worried about the gas mileage, I just want the tune that will give the best overall performance but can still use as the daily driver. I have a 2008 V6 auto.
Thanks.

this isa good question,I was about to start a thread asking the same thing.
But yeah, I've heard of some people that use the race tune as a daily driver but some say that it is too much for them so they go with a torque or performance tune...

When I get my tuner in the mail this week I am going to go with the torque tune. My car hardly ever sees 5 to 6K RPM's with all the traffic and stop lights around here anyways.
