It's PC to XCalibrator cable and software - guess you still need the box. There's got to be someone out there making a PC version. It doesn't take much to flash a static RAM chip. This XC sounds like a rip off.

How long will it take before the software is hacked and spread all over the internet?
And the cable is available for $10?
I think that the software and cable should come with the car from factory!!
