Default rim- curb damage

Does anyone know someone near the Raleigh, NCarea that does rim refinishing. I have 2 rims (20 inch Konig Uknown) that have curb damage. I took them to a place called rim guard and they were going to charge me 200-250 per rim. Seemed high considering i can buy a new rim for 220. I didn't know if anyone knows of a place that does good work for cheaper?

That is way high! Should be in the range of 110-150 unless they are chrome. Just buy new ones for that price.

200-250 per rim sounds high. A friend of my just took 2 rims to a local shop to get repaired, they told him 150 each. They werent just scratched, they were dented (curb at 60mph). Try looking in the yellow pages for a shop that does rim repair.

I've seen those rims in person, my friend has them on his BMW they look terrible up close, just sell them and get a higher quality rim for the price. don't get me wrong from affar they do not suck but its the fit and finish that is an issue
