Thats a lot of torque on the stock bottom end...did Tim advise you to run higher boost or do you plan on doing the upgraded internals if it goes boom

its not the pwr that you hafta worry about its the pressure, and 8psi has been very easy on the motor, i have a very conservative tune. i have had it on like that for 6 months without a issue. tim said with my set-up 11psi will be no prob at all. + i drive like a pansy most the time and dont even get into boost much so i could prob run more if i wanted to but i dont want to puposly blow my motor. but if i do thats just more reason for a built s/b. tim has tuned a few 3vs with my set-up makin 540+rwhp and been there daily driver for almost a yr. so with the way i drive it should not be a prob

Nice setup you have there, I am sure you will be happy with the results from the PH kit.

Any plans on hitting the track with it?
im very happy with it, ive had it on for about 6ooo miles and i may go to the track once just to get a timeslip from it. but i just dont like beating on it to much. im more of a highway roll kinda guy. but id like to see what it would do if i could get traction sometime in the first 1/8 mile lol

Very nice. The GT500 looks fine on the side. It is more of a tribute to the original GT500 than the current factory car is and obviously you got more power to take one on from the showroom floor. MYGT500's car has the same tag on the side fender as well.

Yeah he was telling me there is a guy running 530rwhp on a procharger setup just like mine for about two years now, but who knows how hard he's driving the car...and like you said if you are babying it most of the time it will definitely be harder to blow the motor...plus its not just the torque but how high you rev too...the reason I asked if Tim advised you is because he told the Procharger guy his motor was going to go not long after running it at 530rwhp, but since it hasn't and like you mentioned others have gotten longevity even at those power levels he's a little less sceptical about running the motor over 500rwhp...I say its not just pressure and ft./lbs its also the tune on the car...and from what I'm seeing and hearing Tim does some pretty bad@$$ tunes...
