hey guys im trading my car in tomorrow for an 05 gt. the car has a steeda intake on it and i know it requires a tune. but how do i know what type of tune the car is running or what type of gas to put in it?....btw its from a dealership.

 

no way to know if they don't know. fill it with the top octane in your area until you decide to get your own tuner and reflash it to what you want.

torch red. its got a steeda hood on it, gt500 chrome rims, steeda exhaust, and steeda intake

Yeah most Tunes are tuned for Premium in your area; so fill her with Premium. Congradulations!!

 

Check the glovebox, trunk, behind the seats... maybe the previous owner left the tuner. They traded it in with the steeda CAI, they very easily could have taken it out and made a few bucks on e-bay. Seems strange they'd keep the tuner and leave everything else.
