Curious what folks have spent to get painted racing stripes. Currently debating between 2 14" or a single 24" with two small tracers along side it.

I got a qoute for $1,300 down here in the valley from a very reputable guy. He has had some of his work on truckin magazine. I changed my mind and didn't paint it though.

i was qouted 1800-2k in nj, but that was for lemans style 1" on the outsides of the main stripes

I charge about a Grand for the Le Mans style.
About $4000 if the customer wants to have it burried under the clear coat like the Cobra.
That means, you have to clear the hood, roof, trunk and both bumpers entirely. Your painting anbout 70% of the car.

i paid $6000 but i had the stripes, pin stripes and side stripes done then had like 10 coats of clear over EVERYTHING. and i used the man that used to paint all of bill elliots cars. but he did flawless work. you can get a good job done for around $1500-$2500 prob

$1500. App. 10" wide, 1/8" pin stripe, 2" seperation. All cleared with the exception of the bumpers. Excellent job done by a custom shop.
