I have a Spec 2 clutch setup with a Spec aluminum flywheel.
Once in a while when either down shifting or shifting into first with some RPM's (nothing crazy) I get a eeeeerrrrrrt noise. I think in might be the aluminum flywheel reverbing some noise. It grabs really good and don't notice any other problems.
Anyone have any experiance with this?
Clutch setup has a couple of thousand miles on it.

Dude, i dig the chin spoiler. You have it painted exactly like I want to do mine. Do you have anymore pictures from the front end of the car? I want to see what it looks like before I go through with it. Thanks for your time!

The Spec 2 I do not know that much about.

The 2+ is normally makes wierd sounds, drives like crap and causes slave problems.

I had a 2+ and Simon is right.
He and a couple of other guys tried to trouble shoot it with me.
My noise was in between a screech and a HONK.
It was so bad that the people next to me in traffic would look over at me.
Mine started just about at 500mi. of it being installed.

Spec gave me all sorts of B.S. about what it might be.
They first denied that they had heard of anything like that but finally
I got a tech on the line after weeks of talking to others that admitted
it was a common problem.

I jerked that damn thing OUT of my car.
They DID NOT reimburse me nor did they replace the parts.
I had to eat all of the cost.
It was a NIGHTMARE.

SPEC is crap in my opinion and I will NEVER recommend them to
ANYONE... EVER.
