just about any chamber-type muffler is going to have some drone at 1800-2000 rpm's. I think some people get too wrapped around the axle about it though. I have MAC's and a 60 mile round trip to work, and I bet I'm in that "drone zone" a total of less than 5 minutes a day. Small price to pay, IMO.

I appreciate all the advice folks. I'm new to Mustangs myself, so I don't really have much of a knowledge base to work on other than what I can read online.

I want a good sounding exhaust, minimal to zero drone but one that will sound great when I get on it. Which is why I think Corsa will be my best bet. I've been considering the GTA's, but from what I can tell from all the sound clips, they aren't going to have the kind of sound I want when really getting on it.

My dad wants the same for his GT, but I don't htink he'll drop the $$ for the Corsa's.

Anyone know anything about hte Gibsons?

I have the Bassani set up, I have the axel backs and the xpipe and I love them! There isn't much drone that I notice. The sound is amazing and very rich.

An old sound clip..

I think both you and your Dad would love the Corsa exhaust. I've had Flowmaster's, GTA's, Bassani ($$$) and now Corsa. I spent a lot off money on other exhaust systems because the Corsa’s were too much money, just to buy them in the end. Here are a couple of short sound clips my son and I made today, they're our first attempts so don't expect too much.

Mach and NJ3, those both sound great and I appreciate the links...

I think that kind of made up my mind regarding the Corsa's... they sound badass with the xpipe.

I did some reading on the Boomtubes and was under the impression that even though they don't have much (if any) drone... they are super loud all the time. Neither my dad nor I want anything that's obnoxiously loud...
