spacers[sm=groupwave.gif]

spacers are not bad but you need to get GOOD spacers.my bro and Iuse 30mmpk spacers on both are drift cars, a 315hp 240sx s14 with 18x10 out backand my bro's 355hp 240sx s13with 18x11 out back and no F-up studs or lug nuts so I think if you need some sweet offset on you mustang go for it!

I have a set of 15mm for my 18x9 Euromax 612, I will be putting on my 05 gt soon.

sorry no pic. of my mustang but both drift cars above with spacers.

...importantly they increase vehicle wear. Specifically they will increase the load on your bearings and make the car unviable past 100,000 miles.
Why do they increase the load on the bearings? Wouldn't heavier rims or rims with smaller offset do the same thing? DoTHEY make the car unviable part 100,000K miles? Not being a smart a$$, just would like to know the answer.

As a side note wheel spacers are dangerous, they are a loaded gun.. you need to make them work right. My best friend Kevin put some on the rear of his compact car. Driving one day and taking a corner at high speed with me in the car, he broke off a rear wheel and made the car do a 720 in the middle of a busy neighborhood.
Do you know what kind of spacers he used - stock bolts, longer bolts, etc?

TIA

Saying "Get wider rims" or "Get the 24mm offset rims" isn't solving the problem. It's obvious that the OP's rim of choice is the stock 18x8.5 bullitts. There are no other rims that look like those except maybe the 18x9 Euromax 612 here http://www.edgeracing.com/2007/Ford/..._GT/wheels/18/

Aftermarket bullitts look nothing like the stock 18" ones. His only option seems to be to get wheel spacers.
You mean these..?

Yep, those are the ones! Kinda makes me wish I'd seen those before I got my bullitts.
I don't particularly like the ring around the bullitts where the flange would be, and the bullitts are only 8.5" wide.
I kinda wish I'd bought the 17x9 silver Euromax rims.

gjs14, can you make a thread with pics of the Euromax rims on Mustangs?

Ok, to stay on topic.....I did buy wheel spacers from www.mustangwheelspacers.com .......the 5/8" set. I have not installed them yet. I am debating whether or not to send them back just because it's going to be a lot of work to install them.....removing brakes and rear shield thing...etc. The adaptive type of spacer would be much easier to install.

Aaaaaarrrrggghhhhh!!!!! Too many decisions! [:@]

I have been told the spacers sold on eBay are made of the same materials, to the same specifications, on the same machines as these by H&R:

Were these direct bolt ons or did your friend have to cut off some part of the studs to get those wheels to fit? I have the same wheels
