Pictures of mustangs with wheel spacers?
Hi, I'm looking for pictures of of wheel spacers on the s197 Mustang. specifically with the 18" bullitts in my case.
I know these spacers (3/4in) are required to do the GT500 brake job conversions while keeping the bullit wheels so i know a few people on the forum have doen this..
Anyway, pictures of similar rims to the 18" bullits are espetially welcome, but between 8" and 9" is fine. i'm looking to visualise what the spacing between the fender and outside of the wheel would look like at shalower depths. Please list your other suspention mods too. Post pics please.
I want to decide if i like the look because i think i want to go for it.

Actually a wider stance should help handling, and people with incorrect offset rims have said so. (You know the 94-04 offset that looks a bit wide on the new stangs)
The reason I decided against spacers is the extra weight. I think the wheel area is the absolute worst place to add weight onto a car in terms of performance.

yeah, i would think they do add weight in the worst place possible....really if you looking for a wider look, buy the 24mm offset wheels, safer and doesn't hurt performance, or buy wider wheels....yes this adds some weight normally, but its the proper way to do it.

I will be doing the same conversion on my 2008. I have all the parts including the spacers but have to wait for spring to install everything. I am still debating if I should use the spacers or not. They really don`t weigh anything, not even 1 pound, I think. I would rather get new wheels, but I really like the bullitts and don`t like the look of the aftermarket dd ones. After alot of research, but no trial yet, I think you will need one inch spacers, like mine. 3/4 inch won`t be enough for the stock bullitts.
