Default Squirrel repellent??

Any ideas on an effective repellent for squirrels??

Had a lovely time this after noon removing a nest from under the hood of my Explorer, which was parked NEXT to my Mustang! Ate up my spark plug wires and generally made a mess. All this happened in one day. I last used the truck on Friday afternoon. (today is Sun). I am scared that the little buggers may eye my car next as it is under cover most of the time during bad weather. Any ideas on keeping the
darn things away? We live in a pretty rural setting.

HELP!!!!!!!!

I watched a show on this once when I was bored lol... try a bunch of moth *****, should help a little, or a motion activated sprinkler or something else that moves.

Damn chipmunks messed up my mom's Jag.. [:@] Not a lot you can do but check under the hood often. The mothballs might be a good idea though..

Pellet gun worked for me when I had rats trying to nest in my cars when it was cold

Heck, a box of .22 shorts is a great solution. I know, but forgive me. I live in the sticks where you can get away with stuff like that.

I agree with the .22 shorts and would take care of it that way if the car was parked in the backyard, however I am sure the neighbors might frown a bit if I sat on the porch with my rifle or pistol waiting for the little bugger so show up.Had to restrain myhusband from loading the shotgun. Might have to try the mothballs..sure they stink but a little stink is better than the damange these things can cause. And they dont cost too much either. What a mess it made! Ate the hoodliner as well.

Perhaps I should put a "Vacancy" sign on my neighbors non running old Camaro to attract them to it? ButI am sure the reason it went in my truck was because it was warm. I'm still glad it did not go in to my GT.
