Default Top speed with 4.10's, big deal?

What mph drop in top speed do you see?

And do you see a drop in 1/4 mile runs?

I don't know what the numbers are, but I am getting use of those 4.10's everytime I take off, much more often than top speed runs. I admit, since I just bought the car in December 07,I haven't even run it up full throttle into fourth yet, but don't plan to make full out runs very often at all. It is fun chirping 3rd though...

I bought my car with the 4.10's already in, and have not driven any other 05+ GT to compare to, but I LOVE IT!!! Manual shifter btw in case you missed my sig.

You'll get better 1/4 mile times but lower top speed.

Who cares about top speed anyway ?

I think the fun is how you get to that top speed, not really being there for too long.

It's not like you can stay there very long anyway unless you are at Bonneville, but while there, it is indeed a rush. No I haven't been there, Are you crazy?

If my car werent my DD, I would have 4:10s or even 4:30s! Gas strays me away from these gears .

Good point and understandable. Mine is not the DD, but actually gets better mileage than my DD Explorer, LOL. Well, that depends on how much the hammer gets dropped.
