Hurst Shifter Question
Does anyone know if there is any difference between the Hurst/Ford Racing Shifter http://www.fordracingparts.com/parts...tKeyField=9121It says it comes with 2 stalks and you can use the stock **** & a 32% reduction in throw.
The other one http://www.brenspeed.com/mustang_2005/shifter.html That one says 40% reduction and seems to be a little cheaper than a Ford Racing one.
Any ideas?

Yeah, I can see you can't use the stock **** on the Hurst stalk. The Ford one say it comes with two stalks. I assume that is one Hurst and one that works with the stock ****. I am wondering about the difference listed for reduction of throw. And why is one worth $100 more.
i would bet money that their the same. just someone has the #'s wrong (or they both do). and the ford racing one is more expensive for 2 reasons... 1) your buying it from ford directly. 2) it comes with more parts.
if you want to run the stock shift **** go with ford racing, but it will cost you an extra 100 bucks to do so.

Just get the one from Brenspeed. If down the road you're not happy with the white ball and want to go back to the stock **** you can always buy the stick for the stock **** separately.

Shelby69, get a short throw, even if you don't go with Hurst. I love my Hurst though.
It is the exact same shifter. Hurst makes it for FRPP. If you wanna keep the stock ****, instead of spending the extra $100 for the FRPP version, just spend like 15 or 20 and get a threaded adaptor for the stick.
